I'm thinking about getting a Street Bob with the red candy flake paint but I'd like to see a few pics of them out there. Can you guys post some? I'd really like to see one with black exhaust and some other different things.
there are a few pics floating around, and IMO it is a stunning color....and you don't see too many around. i really think you need to go with the black engine though, because i think the chrome ends up making it look to bright and flashy for my taste. when i first heard of the candy colors i couldn't figure who would buy it, but now that i've actually seen them they are really good looking...like i said especially with the blacked out look with the other parts.
exactly what i was referring to. squid's goblin was the first of the candies i saw with the rest blacked out....completely changed my mind on the candies. that being said, my dealer had the same green with everything chromed out...waaaaaay too bright and shiny and "toy" looking. totally looked like a girl's bike or something. candy with the black has a real nice look to it. hwill"s is a nice one!

DO IT!!!
It does look nice with those chrome slashcut 2-2s on it. Guess you'll just have to black yours out to be different....
I'd also like to comment that if you go to the dealership, ask them to roll it outdoors so you can behold the beauty. The color just absolutely does not come to life under florescent lighting. My wife and I both turned our noses up at that color when we bought our Vivid Black (sitting right next to it in the showroom). When we were at Spring Rally in Myrtle Beach, SC they had one sitting in the sun and we were both sick that we didn't see that color before hand. Great color on the sun!
I couldn't make up my mind about the Hard Candy Red or denim black. I ended up going black because my other bike is red and felt it was a safer choice in the long run. I really like it though!
