I have a 2010 Street Bob and want to use the detachable solo rack on it. I have the docking hardware installed and the turn signals relocated as per the instructions. When I try to install the rack it is too wide for the docking hardware mounts. There is about 3/4 inch difference between the rack and the groove the rack is supposed to slide into. Can someone post pics of the docking hardware mounts installed on their Street Bob. The rack P/N is 53511-06 if that helps. Could someone measure the width of the front mount points on the rack? Thanks

I have an idea however, my photobucket account has seemed to "crapped the bed" so, I have no pics to show you.
With the HD docking station, there are spacers, washers and longer bolts to ad as needed to adjust the docking points to the correct width. you could do the same thing with a trip to Lowes, or Home Depot.
I normally run Solo with a QD rack over the fender. I can, however, Remove the solo and rack and put on the sissy bar with pad and luggage rack and, a 2-up seat in about 2 min. (to take Wifey along.)
I live in Australia but have a Fatbob in CA. I bought the luggage rack etc on my way to Sturgis this year and had the same problem. I was fitting it at the dealership and I thought I had to get longer bolts but one of the guys came out and pointed out I had something setup wrong. Can't remember what though. It might be worth going past the dealer if that's convenient
I have a 2012 SB with the same rack. I find that i have to 'flex' it just a bit to get it to line up, but 3/4 inch seems like alot. I don't know if you may have installed the brackets with the spacers out of order or not, but I've taken some pics that may help. I'll post them as soon as I can figure that out.
Thanks for the replies and pics. I had the dealer install the docking hardware and they left out some spacers. I am taking it back on Monday and they are fixing it. The spacers should get everything to line up. Again thanks.
