I have a 2011 Street Bob with a 2008 full fender smoothed and a side mounted vertical tag with tail/run light ,I have been running this setup for awhile till just the other day when I foundout the hardway that vertical tags in Alabama are not acceptable I did not get a ticket but was warned the State Trooper was cool about it. Anyway I have to find out what to do with my tag I dont like the horizontal side mount.
I was thinking of doin a dream weavers curved fender mount Plate with model a light (http://www.dreamweaversprostreet.com) , a bob tail fender (willing to trade ), or a full fender (willing to trade) with stock tail light and lay down plate , also I thought about going back to a stock fender with the sparto light but really don't want the trouble of the fender cracking . Opinions needed I have added a pic of my current setup

Looks good with the vertical mount. Just a thought but, why not get one of those mounts that flip between vertical and horizontal. If you get pulled over you can flip it to horizontal and blame it on "the defective mount".

I used the lay-down type bracket and relocated my TSs. It looks ok and isn't an invitation to any leo for a stop.
