Default Front brake line issue

I finally got the street slammers installed today, love 'em! (Thanks for the advice and help). The brake line and clutch cable are now longer than I like. I know I can get a shorter clutch cable, but I'm not sure how to go about figuring out the correct brake line. The metal part towards the master cylinder is too long. Can I get one from a different model dyna with shorter handlebars? (Mine is an '07 WG and came with the factory mini apes).

Thanks for the help!

Matt

I have 12.5" Wild One Chubby apes and installed a 52" Russell brake line. I could have gone a little shorter, but it looks fine. I would do a mock up of a brake line with a piece of string, then measure the length of the string. I would think you would need around a 50" line, but that's just a guess. Check this page from Jireh once you have your length. Give them a call. You should be able to get a quality line with chrome fittings in either 50", 52", or 54" for $41.95.

Its all flexible line, with no metal tubing like the stock part.
