I used to have the 15"..Nw the 18".
Beanie or FF I have no Buffeting, i feel airround the face and helmet, but no turbalence....
good to know. i ordered the 18" screen. thought i could cut it down to suit me anyhow but was a little worried about how it will perform compared to my windshield.
is that the 15" in the pic of your dyna?
I used to get massive amounts of buffeting with the windshield. Haven't tested out my Rifle yet cause I'm still messing with the mounts. The quick release mounts aren't going to work out. Hey Sling where did you pick up those fork clamps? They look like a pair ive seen in a turn signal relocate thread.
those do look like turn sig relo brackets. i have a set on my bike. you can get them from j&p and other places for around $40.
i might have to pick up another set for my fairing when it comes in.

Bought them on amazon or ebay- yep- relocation clamps- easy on and off for service.
am i going to run into trouble trying to mount my fairing using the HD removable clamps that i have for my windshield? should i order some more of these sig relo clamps?? i am surprised that those clamps don't come in black yet.
I was attempting to use my HD quick release clamps by extending the adjustable brackets with some black tabs that came with the fairing. I couldn't achieve the right bolt mounting angle with the HD clamps. Here's a pic of the two different clamps. You might have better luck than I did.
I tried to use gorilla glue to adhere this bolt to the bottom of the fairing so I won't have to drill a hole to attach it to the mount. Any one have an idea of an adhesive that would work? I'm thinking I might try a construction adhesive like liquid nails. I'm concerned the solvents in the adhesive could hurt the fairing.
PM 07bobber ask him how he ending up mounting the bottom of his rifle. I remember he was working on a different way as well. He has had It on for awhile now maybe he can shoot some guidance
