Default Rifle fairing on wide glide

My fairing finally arrived. I'm working on the install. What are some thoughts about the way I'm setting up the support struts.

The instructions also say to drill a hole in the bottom of the fairing to run the bolt through to the under headlight bracket. I'm thinking of finding a specialty type fastener and using gorilla glue to adhere it rather than drilling a hole. Any thoughts on this?

Can't wait to see it mounted up man! I just ordered mine so I'll be looking forward to your tips.

What was the turn around time for you?

If I'm not mistaken, maybe 07bobber can chime in, I think he just tightened it up with only using the quick release on top clamps. Also heard of others justing turn signal clamps to mount bottom.

I think I took delivery of my fairing about six weeks after I ordered it. Rifle doesnt bill you for the item until it ships. The fairing looks great and they did a great job packaging the unit. So far I have used two HD quick release mounts off of a windshield I got with the bike. The Rifle instructions are generic and I already had to make a run to Lowe's for some parts. To move the headlight I used two of the tabs they provided and I bought some 3/8 aluminum tube stock to act as a spacer between the mounting tabs of the stock headlight bracket. I will take some more pics and add to the thread after Thanksgiving.

Yeah.... I dont think I need to drill a hole in my fairing to create a strong mount under the headlight.
