Default EFI and 02 sensor

I am putting aftermarket pipes on a 05 with efi. The pipes have 02 sensors which I will plug but the question is since the bike is efi should the pipes that came with my bike have 02 sensors on it anyway?

I dont fully understand your question actually but my understanding is O2 sensors only became relevant 06 onward. But in 06 the engine was same as 05, so maybe its there for '06 compatibility?

You are pre-O2 sensors with that bike.
