you know a few years back i was getting this on my street glide but only when i wore a full face.
aside from that, i was at my pal roger's shop looking at one of his race bikes months ago. i was checking out the fairing and rider position and noticed a "slot" in the screen just above the fairing. i asked him about it and he said it relieved the buffeting he got at high speeds (200mph kinda speed).
i am guessing that the void in air pressure behind the fairing causes that bobble head effect maybe? i will have to talk with him about it a bit more but food for thought perhaps.
Could you use any photos of my pics and use paint or Photoshop to position a slot so I can understand better. Im thinking of a picture with someone smiling and a tooth is missing from the top row??
i will try for sure. never used photo shop before. i am also trying to get an actual photo of the bike i am talking about from my pal roger. i have some pics but they are too small to see the slot.
the slot is like an 1/8" if even that big and about 3-4" long about 1" above fairing. here is a shot of the bike but it's too small to make heads or tails of it.
i will post a pic when i get more
Just rode my T Sport home for the first time in a month. I wore my full face and no buffeting at all. that is the first time I have worn my Full face on the. I assume you wear a half helmet?

so i am uploading photos to photobucket. will be back later tonight to have a full report. I have some changes and about 50 pics of various things from today down at conleys shop.
my buffeting problem has been fixed but there is a twist. lol
What clamps did you use on the tubes? A buddy of mine used hd quick releases and it put the fairing out further than the conely's clamps did.......He switched back to the conely's clamps
