Default Air Pressure

Hi all - just bought a 2012 FXDC Dyna Custom and was trying to check the air pressure - wow, could it be any more of a pain in the ()*)()* ?? Any thoughts on how to get around this? Both disks on the rear brake are in the way and with the belt it is almost impossible... I've heard there are 90 degree adapters but wanted to check here first.

Thanks,

Lou

I usually use one of the tiny digital gauges, it's probably 2 inches long, and roll the bike around until I can get to the valve stem. I am wanting the 90 degree stems also.

I use the needle gauge short profile to check mine.

I use a 90 degree adapter on my rear wheel. Got a 2 pack on amazon for very little. For the front I don't use a dual head gauge or inflator...those are a pain to wiggle in between my spokes.

Beware the 90° adapters. They add weight so unbalancing the wheel. They are also prone to leak and can even catch on the belt and other parts.

I use a digital gauge....roll the bike until it is at the farthest back point, the get the gauge into the middle of the spokes. No problems.
