Ok here is the problem (or mayby not a problem)

06 FXDCI, at first service by dealer installed the HD intake Stage I and the HD slip on mufflers p/n80366-99 and HD dowload to match.
The sound is plenty for me, and there is noticeable difference in power ....but I now notice more vibration when decelerating and not very smooth at lower speeds and RPM as compared to stock. What gives ? I was expecting a smoother running set up. Stock was better.

Comments please.

Is the bike popping / backfiring on deceleration or is it actually shaking / vibrating?

I would say shaking and vibrating more than stock.

I have the same set up as you but with Rush exhaust. I didn't noticce that at all. Are you sure it isn't a motor mount problem.

Go and check to see if you have the 8 degree or 25 degree injectors. Ifd you have the 8 degree that might be your problem.

OK new at this, Nothing has been changed... how can I tell which injectors are installed ?
Would chnging the intake and slip on effect this ?

I read here about PCIII and CERTs.... could that be an issue ?

Unless the dealer mech did something to engine mounts i dont see how they have gone bad one day to the next.

I assume you did the dowload for your stage I and Rush exhaust ?
