Chain drive is chain and Sporkets
Belt drives are Belts and Pulley's
Go with the 06 softail 70 tooth....

Yea it costs something like $300 to change over to chain drive if you do all the work yourself...I was thinking about it for my bike, but now i am selling mine because I am moving in March to the Islands to retire, and the bike is to big for down there.
But that doesn't mean I won't hop up one of those little things they do allow....

What year is your street glide? If its 07 or 08 you could use an 06 street glide pulley. If It's 09 or newer its cush drive rubber mounted. You could do a 30t front, 2 less than stock and that would be a similar change as +4 in the rear. I would suggest doing both. 07 up bikes are in desperate need of gearing.
