If you can find a set of these Rineharts they sound great! I have no desire for a full system after buying mine.(that's not my bike in the video)

I went with Cycle Shack slip ons because they were only $150. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the sound. I plan to eventually get a full exhaust system so didn't want to spend a lot on slip ons.

I have Krome Werks 3" HP + slash cuts, they are of high quality and sound good. They are fairly quiet.

Great customer service with Rush and I loved the sound. But I recently went with Short Shots just for looks.

Yes, you can do it, but the bike probably won't be running as good as it should. A good fuel management system will make the bike run better. The newer HDs usually run lean from the factory due to EPA requirements and adding the high flo air intake and exhaust will make an already lean condition worse. That being said, plenty of folks are running with no fuel management system and no issues. Also, some claim that the ECM can compensate for modified exhaust and air intake.

Here is a good explanation from Nightrider: http://www.nightrider.com/parts/ied_faq.htm

I used a set of python slip on mufflers for two riding seaons. Loved the sound and the look. I recently purchased a 2-1 exhaust and now have the mufflers for sale.

I have Screamin Eagle II slipons. I found them as takeoffs on eBay. Î like them a lot.
