I thinking of maybe a D&D exhaust and wondering how it may work on a FatBob with the HD saddlebags...the Bob cat pipe looks like it must be loud and is angled up and short...not good for bags? Any comments on D&D in general...do they have a "quieter" baffle???
The FatCat has a quiet baffle, and I think this exhaust looks the best on a fat bob. I still regret not getting the FatCat quiet instead of my bassani.
I have a fatcat on my FXDXT with the quiet baffle. Even with the quiet pipe I would not refer to this pipe as quiet. I can't help with the bob cat and how much space there will be with bags but with my fatcat and bags on my Dyna (14" shocks) I have tons of room between the bags and the pipe. Of course i do not know the height of the shocks on the fatbob or how big the bags you want to run are. Here you can see the space I have. This pipe gives good power and has a nice sound although the sound of the Thunderheader was better but fit and finish on the D&D is nicer. The TH seemed to avhe a little bit better power at the low end as well. It's all a toss up with exhaust.
i have had 2 fat cats on different dynas. one with quiet baffle one without. there not that much different. i like the normal baffle myself. looks like the bob cat will bend up right into saddlebags

I have the Fat Cat on my 2000 FXDX. Love the sound and everyone can hear me coming. Plenty of room to hang bag on it. (Next step is FXDXT bags)
The only issue I have is the guy I bought the bike from had shorter shocks on it. Now that I have put stock length (13.6") 440s on it the rear axle nut makes contact with the pipe now.
Does anyone know if there is a spacer I can buy to move the exhaust away from the bike a little or it is a "fab your own" kind of thing?
