Hello all, have not posted much. But I would like some advice. I have a 2012 dyna wide glide with a 103. I have done the fuel pak with v&h big radius pipes. I'm looking for a set of cams. Harley is recommending the se255 cams. Said it would bump me over 100 horse. Sounds unreal. Now I don't want to have a high rev bike but I want it to sound roudy! And the extra hp would be a plus. So my question is what do you guys think I should go with? Maybe s&s 583? There is a map for my tuner with that cam. I don't want to spend 900 dollars on the server tuner either. Thanks for any advice.
Go to the touring forums, and look at dyno numbers, there are tons of options for you, most is from the wallet, and personal experience and outcomes.
Mods go from soup to nuts are what you want to do.

The dealer is embellishing those numbers quite a bit.
The Andrews TW48H will make more power than the SE255. The best thing to do is call some the cam companys and talk to them. The TW48H would give you over 90 HP and over a 100 TQ real numbers. You will need a better tuner than the Fuel Pack so call FuelMoto. While you are talking to FuelMoto about a tuner talk to them about a cam. After dealing with the dealers about a few things I would not trust them or their numbers they are telling you.
I've got the Andrews TW48H in my 96" and really like it. Got 90hp and 102tq with a TTS and dyno tune. Not sure if it's a recommended for the 103, but if it is, I think it would be what you're looking for. Really good low and midrange power, and it improved the top end as well.

Ok I will look into that, thanks. Anyone have advice on the s&s 583 cams? It seems like a decent cam according to the spec sheet. I am not totally interested in the large horsepower. More interested in sound as for right now.
