I like the look P51.
Thanks for the offer Mangels.
I'm going to go with Tepidy he made me a good offer on one. I'll run it till it gets no colder than 40 in the morning then it's coming off till next winter. I've run full shields and just really like no shields I go FF winter and long highway and 1/2 bar hoping and short runs.
I have one and it works great if you have a FF helmet which I always do - it keeps 80% of the wind off your chest and hits about mid helmet with no buffeting at all. I suppose you could try adjusting it but I'm happy with it as is - provides just the level of protection I was after and looks pretty good doing it.
I have to totally agree. It's also very easy to adjust , if you keep it almost vertical and a couple inches above the lamp it will protect a bit more at lower speeds (45 to 70) but don't expect too much. At highway speed I keep it a bit tilted and with my modular helmet I have no buffeting and wind off my chest which is exactly the reason why I bought it.

just checking on ebay, this is what I use when I need the extra wind protection in the cold.
Works well and doesn't look that bad for a windshield.
can't beat the price. I bought new and paid big time compared to this price.
Never tried a 9 inch on anything except my SG, lolol which is about right depending on what seat that I run.
On my softail however I ran a 21 inch Rio Grande Memphis Shades that was awful nice. It hit me or rather came between my chin and my lower lip for heighth.
Those "flyscreen" shields are pretty much what they're called (small fly catcher) & strictly for looks over functionality. If you're looking for good wind protection in cold riding - get something alot bigger/wider w/quick detach mounts (i.e. Memphis Shades, HD, etc.). You're not going to see much difference in cold riding with a 9" x 7" piece of plastic over your headlight...JMO.
Thanks tepidy for A great deal on the flyscreen and p51. I put the flyscreen on monday when it arrived. Managed to get out between the rain drops and it works good for what i was looking for. I set the height and angle for i thought would work for me, from about 45 up to 90 it keeps enough wind off my chest to tell a differnce. I wear a FF and could ride with shield 1/4 open no problem helps with the fogging. However as soon as the temp gets no lower than 40ish in the morning coming off and going to storage till next winter.
