Duuuude. . I'm in love with the get a grips (no homo) I had them on my last bike when I wrecked and promptly ordered new ones (trying magnum no homo) for my new bike. Probably the best balance of old and new on any moco accesory. End rant. Nice bike. I havent tried that plasti dip but it looks good. Only thing, have there been any issues with moisture being trapped underneath the plastidip?
i wondered the same thing bro, but after extensive research before buying.......no. the only way to get moisture under it would be too tear it and not fix it fast enough and have moisture get in that way.
got her just about buttoned up tonight(except the fairing)haha, went together great. i ended up dipping the fender struts, and the taillight base aswell. also pounded out a homemade laydown plate, and installed my 12.5 inch bagger shocks. im very stoked with the project, i love the look. im only guna do a few more little parts, then i have some chrome to black out. onto the pics.
forgot........i baught some cut to length led strips from oreillys and deleted my factory rear turns. guna look slick when i get my bags mounted! also installed my d2moto led taillight, love it!
Have you thought about some black plast-dip on the strut covers and the tank console? It may give a pretty good look to it with a little bit of contrast. I think it would make those LED strips blend in real nice.
Not really my thing but looks like you did a good job and made it your own.
