The best mod for aesthetics would be putting the correct rear fender on it like it should have come with....

By far, stage 2 upgrade. I put the VH Pro Pipe, S&S Stealth intake, SESPT and SE 255 cams, but whatever combo is used, performance is night and day.

Aesthetically, I have to say that the flush mount gauge and cap set is my favorite.

The Mother Road Customs spring seat is function and form. Comfortable and it eats up harsh bumps. I put a full tank on it a couple of times and never even thought about a sore ***.

I just saw an old thread that someone recently added too. They were discussing the Kuryakyn gauge and cap set. One of the guys sent it to Joe at The Powder Pro for black PC. The Kury set isn't totally flush, but they look pretty slick.

I think that they'll fit on an 06, I have an 07 streetbob and when I looked at Harley's website they didn't sell them for 07's, but on here lot's of guy's have bought them and put them on their bikes no problems.
Maybe do a thread search.
I still have to get them too.
