I've done a lot of mods over the years, but the 4 basic ones that mattered the most were:
1) 16" apes
2) 95" engine (now 117")
3) forward controls
5) Wide glide front end

The best thing I did this year was SE HTCC CNC ported heads and rear chain conversion.

Asthetically, I added the whole chrome front end, forward controls, moved the turn signals down, 27" wide drag bars on 6" risers, chrome inner primary, stainless braided brake and clutch lines, chrome headlight shell, chrome switch modules, chrome swing arm, chrome brake calipers, a custom design sewn into the stock seat, and whole bunch of other small items.

Performance, Vance & Hines Big Radius 2-Into-2 Exhaust, the Kuryakin High Five Mach II Air Cleaner, the HD Race Tuner, and a dyno tune gave the bike an additional 16 HP.

I have an 06 as well and what I got from HD for info is this. It will fit our bikes but the plug for the led fuel gauge will not work on the 06. You might have to rewire it. I plan on doing this once I get my bike back from the shop. I will post a write up on it soon .

HD sells them...digital ones. I have them on my 06 Street Bob.

My 2010 wife's wide glide
SS106 complete kit, high flow AC, Brake, turn, run turn signals, vertical tag with brake light, 16 inch bars, danny gray seat
My 2005 Dyna super glide
Just started on it, kuryakyn forward controls
Engine being built at the present, Pro Twin performance 113 complete package.
