Yes. The Big Flake Deluxe is the Big Red Hard Candy Flake withe the added graphic on the side. It is beautiful, but sort of defines the bike's style.
Personally, I think it would look best on a stock or close to stock bike. It wouldn't go well on a slammed bobber for example.
Is the big red flake deluxe the one with the painted logo on the tank or is it just the candy red flake with the same tank badge as the other colors? I know what you are saying about the blue with the black on the tank - the logo is bad.
Yeah the big red flake deluxe is the ember red with the big flake logo, kind of best of both worlds /shrug.
Having the hard candy lucky green i can personally say its cool color and the big flakes are sweet, but would be BETTER if not all big flake, and two toned, or something. Thats why i like the big flake deluxe scheme i think.

I dunno may look wicked on a blacked out slammed bobber i think that it looks old school not a big bike paint look, dont think would look good with windshield, bags etc.. imo
I had an '11 in Black Denim, if I were buying a new Street Bob I would go with Black Denim again. Looks great on a Street Bob and is very easy to keep looking good - more time for riding and less time cleaning.
At first I wanted the orange..then I saw the midnight pearl, its a great looking color in the sun. The dealer had the bike set up just like I wanted but was the wrong color. They would not let me do a custom order so I got them to swap the tins with another street bob they had in stock. They only had a vivid black and a denim black one in stock so I went with the denim. Looks good the way the bike is currently set up.
Heres a pic of how it was set up...with the red/white color scheme. Looks better on the web site that it does in person.
And here's how it looks after they changed everything over
