Lol! So the candy colors are not the latest trend/fad? I'm just messing with you man. All colors under the sun have been done. Everybody does what they like.
At first I wanted the orange..then I saw the midnight pearl, its a great looking color in the sun. The dealer had the bike set up just like I wanted but was the wrong color. They would not let me do a custom order so I got them to swap the tins with another street bob they had in stock. They only had a vivid black and a denim black one in stock so I went with the denim. Looks good the way the bike is currently set up.
Heres a pic of how it was set up...with the red/white color scheme. Looks better on the web site that it does in person.
And here's how it looks after they changed everything over
I agree - the denim looks great with the red rims! I would love to see this same bike in vivid black too.

lol oh no the big candys from the 60/70's are HD's attempt at bringing back an earlier trend, 100%. I couldn't resist it, reminded me of my youth. My (that I bought) 1st car a 65 Riviera lowrider bought my sr yr in high school. Drove everyone crazy they thought someone from east LA moved to town!
yet whenever we are out the girls stop and ask or comment on my bike not the other 4-5 black ones around mine. /shrug I would rather a chick stop and chat than some guy any days! lol
Not sure about everyone else I didn't buy my bike or set it up hoping that chicks or anyone else would like it. I could care less.

clearly you care what others think of your bike you neither of you would be posting pictures of it on here, etc... so just deal with the honesty and dont let that hurt your feelings Brother.
I would of choose any color other than black because its easier to find in the sea of black harleys. The only thing that distinguishes each rider around here is which HD leather logo is stamped across the back it seems.
I just bought the 2012 bob and i got the vivid black, i have always liked the black on my bikes, but it comes down to personal taste, some ppl like flames some don't.
