I have a set of Fat bob fork lowers for a street bob dual conversion and I'm in the process of collecting parts.
I want to know would a pair of brembo calipers off of a 2012 streetglide fit? Aren't they all ABS now?
Or should I just get a right side off of an '03 Touring FLH ? I also see one off of a touring Electra glide standard
So whaddya think?
Thanks

The calipers themselves are the same. The ABS consists of an ABS pickup instead of a left axle spacer, an ABS bearing, and the computer on the bike so calipers off an ABS bike will work just fine. I love my Brembo setup on my T Sport. Have at it. Quite often you can find someone here on the forums who has changed to a a single disc 6 piston caliper setup and grab their calipers for inexpensive.

You have FatBob lowers and you want to put HD Brembos on them? They will not work correctly on your application. There are many posts with photographs on this great form that I personally posted on this subject. The drop down search box will get you the information you seek.

Fascinating, they work very well on my Fat bob or are you saying the lower legs won't work on his SB?

the FatBob lower leg can not work with a Bagger/V-Rod caliper using a stock 300mm caliper, you must make a new caliper adapter or a new larger rotor . Look carefully at your caliper & rotor and tell me what is wrong and how safe you are doing this conversion. Please take a picture if you disagree with me on this.
The pads overhang the rotor on the outside edge if you use the newer brembo calipers. Once the pads start wearing they will hang on the rotor and eventually could touch each other before making contact with the rotor. Stock rotor size is 11.8 or 300mm not sure if a 320mm rotor would work.
