The plot thickens..... So I picked up new bulbs today and before I put them in I did some voltage readings from the actual taillight assemblies. No power on, 0 volts. Power on, 12 volts, power on and blinker on fluctuating voltage, 0-12v, everything seems like its working the way its supposed to.
Well then I noticed my headlight not working, and I begin to recall hearing a pop noise while I was doing my readings that I didnt pay attention to at first. So I check the fuses and sure enough, the light fuse popped. So I put in the new tail light bulbs and put in a spare fuse and everything is working the way its supposed to.
So did the light fuse pop because I did not have the light bulbs in the tail lights and it created some sort of unbalanced load? I will keep an eye on it and see if these bulbs hold out, maybe it was some sort of fluke, but I doubt I will get that lucky.....
Fuse will blow when it sees too many amps to protect the wiring etc. Sounds like you have a short to ground somewhere.
What this man said. I don't think there is anything on the turn signal/running light loop that would pop the headlight fuse...But I'd have to look at my diagram.
Also, I meant to add this before, I replaced three bulbs on my WG in the back housings. The ones from HD seem to be rather fragile. I finally went with the Custom Dynamic LEDs...no problems since and they are bright as can be!
Someone else mentioned that the HD bulbs are too sensitive and mentioned going to LED's, I will need to take a look at that option.
I need to look at the diagrams also but I think the headlight maybe on the same fuse with the tail lights only cause the running/turning/and brake lights are all integrated.
Thanks for chiming in guys, all advice is appreciated!

I think the LEDs sold by Custom Dynamics are the Radiantz parts. They plug into the bulb socket just like normal. Amazon has them for $42 roughly.
Did you need to get a load equalizer when you switched to the LEDs? Did you replace all turn signals or just the back? Thanks!
