I just did the back, and no, they worked right out of the box with no equalizer. If you do all four with LED, you may need one

BTW. You'll need dual intensity for 1157 style bulb replacement.

So I had this problem this weekend. Front / Rear running lights not working, brake lights working and turn signals working. Pulled out all 4 bulbs in my case are Custom Dynamics LEDs and 1 was burned. Replaced front 2 (one was burned) with stock bulbs and all started working. I read something about having 2 filaments, 1 for running 1 for brake/turn. If 1 burns out it screws up all 4 front/rear running lights or brake lights.

Ofcourse I tried this only after pulling my Road Glide fairing looking for pinched wires. LOL. Luckily Custom Dynamics has lifetime warranty. Thanks guys who offered up advice on this topic you saved me!
