Default Feel better now.

Just got back from a ride on the freeway. I didn't think 46 degrees with 15MPH winds would be that cold. Maybe if I had had more then a hoodie and a jacket it would have been warmer. My blood must be thinning out from living in Texas.

Even so, it was a great ride

I can't wait to see mid 40's again. I think it got up to 11 deg today here. I'll ride down to about 40 and then it gets a little to chilly for me, but I don't own anything that anybody would consider cold weather gear other than a face shield for my 3/4 helmet.

I can do the half helmet and beanie thing at 46 degrees, but I gotta have a good jacket and gloves.

Didn't need any of it today. 79 and sunny.

I envy you guys who get to ride all year. Of course I live in the part of CA that gets buried in 50' of snow/year. Last weekend I was in Reno, NV and their roads were covered in about 1/2" thick sheet of ice. Many accidents. Saw a RK doing about 5mph down the main drag. He didn't look like he was having a good time. At all. I give him a lot of credit though. I would of dumped it before I even put it in gear in those conditions.

Mid thirties yesterday here in the PNW and I got in a blissful 90 miles of therapy! Not many dry days this winter so you gotta take it when you can.

I also got out twice during the day. Short rides in the low 50's, but then went out at sunset and returned about 8:00 pm. It was low 40's and all freeway, about 70-75 mph. I was bundled up good and it was the first time I wore my leather chaps. I must say, I was pretty comfortable except for my fingertips towards the end. Great therapy!
