On a seperate note, be sure to retorque those bolts after riding for awhile - I just changed my exhaust a couple months ago and was surprised to see how loose those bolts got after about 150 miles. I am thinking it was because everything was new, especially the gasket, so maybe going forward it will not loosen up as much.

A mate had a back wheel lock up at about 40mph on 1200 Sportster custom. The bike was only a few months old and low miles. When it was stripped down the belt had shredded and they found an exhaust nut in there which had done the damage. He'd never had the pipes off and the nuts were intact on the bike so it must have been dropped during the build up at the factory.
