Default Road 6 Apes install

So my Road 6 apes came in, and I'm debating on just putting them on myself. All stock cables and wires look like they'll fit (I'm only going from stock street bob mini-apes to 12in), so is it really going to be as simple as just swapping the grips and assemblies to the new one's, run the wiring internally, and bolt back on? Any have any experience with using stock cables/wiring or with Road 6 customs 12in bars?

I don't have those bars or bike, but have swapped out two sets of bars on my FatBob. Based on your info it should be a pretty straight forward bar swap. Obviously there are some details (like removing wiring pin connectors, cable connectors, etc.) but besides stuff like that, I'd say go for it. Make sure you have the service manual to help guide you on some of the steps.

Take a try at it. If you get stuck, we'll help you. I have done several sets on touring bikes and a couple Dynas...They are not that complex at all...

Do it yourself it will be pretty easy using your stock cables the hardest part for me was finding something small enough to remove the pins from the plugs (paper clip worked fine) just be sure to make a drawing of where wires go in each plug.

If you're going to run wires inside that will be the hard part I used the electrical tape with abc's on them to keep track. If you're just swapping bars and leaving everything outside it should be a quick swap.

Very easy to do. I just did this last week on my 2013 SB. Same bars also.
