I'm looking to install the Samson Legend Street Sweepers on my FLD soon and I'm looking for new exhaust gaskets. The only ones the dealer is selling are the SE ones and I don't want those, so I'm looking at aftermarket.
Anyone got suggestions? I did see the Bikers Choice ones, spun stainless steel, so those could be it.

Why would you not want the SE ones? They are MUCH easier to deal with and seal fine...
It all depends on if the head pipe is tapered or not. Stock is tapered, you can see it when you take it off. If not, SE usually work very well, if installed properly. There's a post by rounder on here with some good advise: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...t-gaskets.html.
Having that socket really helps seat them evenly in the exhaust ports. That and some dish soap.
I've heard some complaints about the SE gaskets...few of my buddies that have used them complained they seat right. Was thinking about using the Bikers Choice stainless steel...thanks for all the input. I'll let you know what I end up using....
A few of my buddies have used the SE gaskets couldn't get a good seal and they were installing aftermarket pipes too. But, after reading that post MattVA, sounds like maybe they weren't installed right. I'll talk to Samson and see what they recommend too...whether to use flat or whatever. Thanks for all the input...I'll let you know what I end up using.
