Default help with build

I am adding another Dana to the family. LOL
I have ran across a 2005 Dana super Glide for $6,500.
This bike is like new. It is in awesome condition.. Has 11,600 miles on it and runs like new.
I am going to build a hot rod, a serious one I might add.
I live just outside of Scottsboro, AL.
I am looking for some for a build that knows what they are doing.

I can do most of the work but I need a good shop that can do the head work.
I have not decided on how big I want to go. The 120R is not out of the question right now.
Any one know of anyone that is within 150 miles of Scottsboro.

my 2 cents... if you are going 124" you should try and stick with one builder so the components all work together. Try Tman Performance, GMR Performance , Hillside , headquarters, pro Twin. All good builders. Just send the heads to them and bottom end and they can do the rest ( check their web sites) Star racing can do the entire engine for you if you want S&S 126". good luck on your build. don't forget clutch and exhaust 2-1... and extra tires!

That is what I have in mind, I'm calling fuelmoto, ss, and hill side tomorrow to get prices. I am thinking of the TW-9F cams. All 3 suggest these cams for the 117" and 124"
Who ever I decide to go with will do the heads. SS is high on their head work that is why I am going to check with hill side--- it now looks like I have more to call.
I already have my exhaust, They were on my ss 106 wide glide but they scrape in the turns. the Dyna super glide has better clearance. Designed for large displacement engines.

Nice bike, looks like a perfect platform for a big build.
I'm researching right now to put a 120R in my bike, looks like with a couple of small changes it can be a reliable thumper. A S&S 124 for a little more $$$ is a good/better option also. I don't want to build my engine, just want to swap engines so I have the option to reinstall stock engine when I sell the bike. There is a LOT of info on these engines on the web so I'd say don't jump in too soon till you learn all you can.

I am wanting to stay within reason of driving. I do not like to ship, I have done in the past and that is why I am trying to avoid shipping.
Pro Twin isn't far from me.
I have talked to a lot of them so far. Waiting on prices.
I think I am going to a 113ci, stage 4 heads, bottom end build; welded crank, and bearings, clutch, and maybe a gear change, the cams will be gear driven.
It should get close to what I want, around 115hp and 120 Tq....
Forgot; thank you 2012ultralimited for the suggestions...
