I did get her her own bike thats what started this. She decided she liked to be a passenger.
Like i told her if she would have told me that a few months ago id have a fat boy low and the RG. I'm jyst having a hard time buying a rg when i have a mini tourer (fld).

If I were in your situation I'd get rid of the Switchback. Just like you already know the two are just to much alike. Kind of defeats the logic of having two.

I would love to have 2 bikes but the fight isnt worth it at this point. She wants a touring bike but I cant part with my "Remedy".

Get the RG and trade in your FLD for a WG or FatBob or SB. This way you`ll have a bike to bomb around town with and a tourer that both of you will enjoy. You should be able to trade your FLD for one of the above with little or no additional money.

ditch the FLD... you haven't had it very long and it sounds like you probably should have gone for the RG in the first place for what your needs are, unfortunately though all of the extras that have gone in to your FLD you will never get a return on especially the paint work....

watched a really clean sportster custom languish on my dealers floor for 7 months due to the paint job and they ended up doing a dealer trade to get rid of it..

Have you ridden the RG yet? Your wife will be more comfortable on the RG because passenger ergonomics are improved on the touring chassis, but you may not be so happy. I've ridden an Ultra, a few Street Glides and a number of Road Kings... there wasn't one touring bike where I liked the riders position. Bars feel like they're in my chest, and my knees feel like they're way up high. Doesn't have that stretched out comfy feeling my Dyna provides.

Just one man's opinion.
