Has anyone came up with a way to add saddlebags on a Wideglide without having to lose the side license plate mount. It's not that I love that mount. I just hate the relocation kit that Harley sells. It clutters the heck out of the back of the bike...
If you go to BAD&G Custom's website, there is actually a picture of my bracket. http://www.badgcustoms.com/DSC_0787_op_800x531a.jpg. If that link doesnt work, go to his website, click on Dyna/FXR tab, and the pic is located in the bottom right corner of all the pictures he has listed on that page.
Nothing fancy, just a brack with 4 holes drilled out the same size as the original mounting bolts for the license plate, picked up an extra set of bolts and put it on. Just make sure that the bracket doesnt rub against the strut cover, which ended up happening to me and I had to some touch up painting.
