I really like the concept of it and the badge/color itself, but not on the SB fender...

Usually peeps use a badge mounted like that as a way to cover the hole where the dog ***** sparto taillight used to reside. Since the 2013s fender already comes clean, why add stuff back onto it?

I agree, most people with a street bob that have stuff on the rear fender only because there is a hole there. You don't need to pretend to hide a hole. Haha I'm in the process of filling mine in and chopping the fender. But I think that tank badge would look sick on the tank vs the stock one

You have a very clean bike man, you spent extra money to have that fender I think it would be a waste to put the badge on. Just my opinion though.

I like it alot. Its way different. Plenty clean still compared to 90% out there. I actually could see someone making money by designing and making different badges. Maybe MC club names and symbols, maybe just the name or symbol of ones personal bike. I'd pay $30 for a tail badge.

Thanks for the opinions everyone. I'm pretty much decided against it for the same reasons a lot of people have noted. Simpler, cleaner is better. I never have been a "theme" bike kind of guy. I don't care for flames, skulls, bones, or other themes carried from place to place on a bike. Hell, I was hesitant to add the little spider to my timer cover, but it's an old MX reference to the way I bounced all over the track but still passed a lot of people.

The fender badge idea was a toss-up because I like the cast-iron look of the badge, but don't like too much bling. In my opinion, a well structured bike IS the bling. It's just hard to know when to stop.
