Hey guys I am new to the site and just had a question or two! I have a 99 wide glide which is the first pic attached I am wondering if anyone makes the fishtails with straight pipes like the ones shown in the second pic. and do you guys think it is possible to make mine look similar to the bike in the pic!
Hey man, I've never seen it, but i'm no expert... Just thinking about it, it'll have to be something way custom for your dyna. I mean you'll need to route one of the pipes to the left side of the bike. IMO, this is a softail thing, not meant for dynas...
You might look at the set for the Dyna Switchback. I'm sure you would have to come up with a different mounting bracket. Anything is possible I guess. These are the Vance and Hines monster duals for the switchback.
Not many (or any) dual exhausts for the Dyna. I made mine from from a 2009 Electra Glide exhaust. It took a lot of cutting, bending and stretching to do it and a one off mounting system. My father made one from pieces of the original Dyna, Electra Glide and shovelhead pipes. This is the only picture of my father's. A few people have done the cross under, I believe my father is the only Dyna that exits to the left from the rear cylinder.
BTW his bike is a 2005 Super Glide.
So, it can be done with a bit of thinking and work.
