I'm probably the last one herethat should throw rocks atthis bike. But... He has some good taste in parts like the front end, shifter, but the way he has them on the bike doesn't work. He hand clutches and shifts with what? his foot right? soooo what's with the jockey shift?......If someone gave me the bike, and I got home withoutANYONE seeing me, I would strip off the crash bar, fake jockey shift, front fender, chop down that MONSTER front brake mount and drill holes in what was left of it to give it an old school look. If you didthat and in that orderit could look cool.

jBo, I think I see the clutch lever there on the shifter. see below
I agree with most of what you say. Not the part about good taste in
parts like the front end.
What you're seeing is not the finished product. http://www.*****************/forums/sh...ad.php?t=97451 I believe he is addressing all the issues except removing the crash bar (although he's going to match it to the front end). However, to each his own. I give him high props for the initiative and creativity as opposed to just "buying and bolting on". Ride On!
I see the clutch now it's blacked out. He should paint that brake bracket with that paint...I see a pretty cool looking front end on a shelf in the pic. I appreciate the effort he has put into his bike...Most of the mods on my scooter are made by me. Not everyone gets my bike either....Maybe it's just the crash bar that is throwing the look of the bike off for me....and the turn signals mounted on the springer. After seeing the clutch on the shifter I the shifter now.
I have to agree with this statement. Hopefully, this other "SpringBob" will surprise us all when it's completed.
Maybe KPREESE just got way lucky on the first try........... I doubt it. His looks like the one we would all want to buy right off the showroom floor, if HD would produce it.
I hate coveting what someone else has, but I would be really tempted to steal KP's if he left the in it for me.
I like some aspects of it and dislike others, just like every other bike. Except mine, I think it's about perfect, just like me. I'm special just like everyone else.
Generally, I like the look of twisted metal, but I think the front end is too much. I'd put that sissy bar on my bike in a minute, though.
I've built parts for old chopped bikes before, so I can appreciate what sort of time and effort is going on in putting those parts together.
