Can anyone help will 4 inch risers work on 2007 wideglide with stock mini apes with out lengthing the cables the factory riser is 2 inch I just want bars a little higher
I would assume the same would apply, but I'm considering putting 2" taller risers than factory on my Super Glide Custom, and have been told no cable changes would be necessary.
Probably doesn't help, but my 2 cents anyway. I think you would be fine.
The only part that I can think of that may be a problem is the front brake line. You can always adjust the throttle cables but I doubt you would have to.
On the super glide with the speedo on the riser cap I suggest using straight risers not pull backs. The pull backs will turn the speedo downward and might cause a problem seeing the speedo

that is def going to be a different look... i have 2.5 risers on mine and i had to design a custom set of bars to make up for the gap from the tree to the bar... you can prob get away with bending the cable inputs to make the stock cables work, re route your clutch cable... but you will most likely have to replace your break line
I'm doing the same thing. I measured everything and it should be fine. I've never understood the deal with some of these bars. If I wanted to lay over on my bike, I would of gotten a crotch rocket.

Could you explain this for me. I am going to do something but not sure what exactly. I am starting with a set of taller/pull back bars first. Cheapest way out for me.
The rise is going to really off set the risers a ton from your upper tree then your going to have a set of apes there, it is just going to look strange with a tall riser and apes is all I am saying, some 1 inch dog bone risers faceing back would give you a nice pull back and still look good
