Here is my new to me bike. There are some things that I want to do to. Such as add a speedo, bar risers, and flip the mirror right side up. I hate not being able to see what is behind me when I change lanes. Also, I want to add a front brake light switch. Anyways, here it is. Some people I'm sure will hate it, but, I love the look.
Congrats ... cool ...
What do you know about it ...?
Looks to be '99 - '05 with carb ... just noticed the chain drive conversion ...
Also looks like a Wide Glide front end maybe ...
I don't mind a little 'patina' on a bike ... got a little on mine ...
Welcome aboard ...

... on closer inspection, the triple trees are from a FLST ... you can see the threaded bosses on the outer ends of the trees for mounting the tins ... and the fore-and-aft tabs on the lower tree (under the tool bag) for mounting the 'beer cans' ...

It is a 2002. The guy I bought it from bought from someone who had it setup as a "frisco chopper". When he got it is wasn't lowered in the front and it had hard struts in the rear. It also didn't have a front brake. I know he told me that he did the paint, sissy bar, rear shocks, the wider front trees and forks, as well as the front brake. I was told that the chain conversion was done before he bought it.
Over all I am very happy with it. It stands out and is a little unique, which is what really made me like this bike.
Do you plan on keeping the sissy bar and/or bars the same?
Yes, I am keeping the sissy bar. My wife actually likes that she has something to lean against. As for the handlebars, I think i'll be keeping them. I am debating adding a set of risers.
