The easiet way on a wide glide is to mount it to your bars with the included kit and run the wire under the dash and seat and through the back of the electrical area. It is really simple. You can see mine on my signature pic...

Thanks for the tip, got it mounted! Hardest thing was trying to get my sausage fingers to route the cable through the electrical caddy, had to call the ol' lady out with her tiny hands to help me on that one.
