Replacing rear fender

I have an '07 Wide Glide with a replaced rear fender. If you're going from the bobtail fender to a traditional style radius fender you will most likely have to ditch your chrome strut covers, which means removing the top shock bolt from each side.
You can do each side one at a time and not utilize a lift -- as long as one shock is supporting the rear swing arm you can maneuver things enough to get the shock bolts back in and switch sides.
