All that matters is that you like it. I've been a fan of 1/4 fairings for a long time and have had them on different bikes over the years. I agree with some of the others that you need to get the light moved forward so the light doesn't reflect back at you.

Safety definitly matters too homie. I'd hate to see him lay it down bc he doesn't have his headlight mounted properly and has no night vision.

You need to close up the gap.

I'm going to jump in- I just installed the HD headlight visor kit yesterday. It nicely covers up my "mickey mouse ears" gauges and hopefully it'll help with the highway wind a little bit. I'll find out today. I just hope it's not too "SOA". Being in Virginia, I can't remember if I've ever seen a fairing on a dyna. I liked the one on my old nightrod special, I was going for the same look.

He offers another one that also lifts the headlight an inch. Basically you remove your headlight, attach this to the headlight mount, and then to the headlight. It just moves the headlight forward off of the bottom triple clamp.

The fairing looks alright but IMHO it really doesn't look too good on a wide glide. The rake makes it look odd.

You can buy the ness block that comes in the bolt on kit from ebay.
