Default Really stupid basic question!

OK..........call me stupid!
I bought my wife an '05 Low Rider & want to hook up a battery tender, but don't see how to remove the battery cover. On my Street Bob there is a screw under the battery that holds the cover on, but the Low Rider is different. I removed the seat & still don't see how. What's the trick?

My 2003 cover comes off like this:
Remove the rear bolt (bottom rear of the battery- this is a horizontal bolt into the frame)
Remove the rear top bolt (this bolt is vertical and will allow the battery tray to drop down)
Remove the cover.

Your 2005 is most likely very similar, if not exactly the same..........pg

My 05 came with a tender pigtail already in place - look around under the seat and make sure it's not there already.

Are you talking about the two bolts near the ignition switch? (the vertical one goes up?)

yes he means those 2 bolts, the one going straight up unter the swirch, and the blacked out bolt that's under the first one, goes straight in.

Got it. The pigtail is in place & tender hooked up.
Thanks for the help.
