Your not being disrespectful, I wouldn't call it clueless, but I wont begin to assume that I know a vast amount lol.

I'm from Jax by the way. Grew up on the Westside. Stay away from Adamec. Worst dealer I have EVER dealt with in everyway...

I had a couple of friends buy HD's thru the Bagram Afghanistan AAFES/PX while deployed to Afghanistan. They saved about $2,500. They deliver the bike at no extra cost to an HD dealership near your stateside base.

Got a heck of a deal both times...I also bought a Fatboy back in 97 from Military sales in Germany. Took two weeks to get. At the time, you couldn't get a new Fatboy stateside without a wait...
Ok,
Just curious, talked to dealers back home, and I know that I could get the 13 street bob when I return in November from factory with the 103 for the price if it came with the 96 with my discount.

If and when I buy ill buy from back home, its better to purchase from home towns.
Dealers will swear they cant do anything for you in a military area, which is B/s

What was your experience with buying while deployed, I like to have eyes on something before I buy it.
Its just like buying state side, if you find deficiencies with the bike when you inspect it for pick up, they will fix it or order another one.

Thats exactly where I got mine, saved about the same amount. Pensacola HD held mine for almost two months before I got home. I called about a week before I got back and they had it already to go for me. Its a pretty good deal. Also, if you are planning on financing, checkout Andrews FCU, great APR (assuming you have good credit)!

You can order it with a 103 for an extra 350.00 through the HD1 custom program. I bet you can do that through AAFES too...If you are dealing with Adamec, be REAL careful...They are a AT LEAST MSRP dealer (or they used to be, been a while since I have walked in there)...They once told me that they would not discuss price until I COMMITTED to buy. Wanted me to sign something saying so...Insane...
