I like the idea of black on the top rockers and chrome on the bottom. Just looks like too much black on your ride if you black them out. Contrast is a good thing.

Wrinkle black tops with the OE polished bottoms.

For your bike, I'd say black.
For my bike, I went chrome. I don't worry about cleaning polish covers anymore, pain in the S. The first picture shows front chrome cover and rear stock cover.

I agree with black upper and chrome lower. I think the contrast would set it off.

I do not think any bike looks better than black and chrome.
All Black looks good but black and chrome is awesome and eye catching.

I like the black upper and chrome lower, and was thinking of doing that myself. Was going to pull the top off and have it coated myself. How big of job is it? Already have the tank off, but does a guy need the special tool/bit to torque down the cover bolts or is it a simple pull the lid off and put it back on type of deal?
