Default Shift linkage ends

I want to replace the snifter linkage rod on my 05 FXDWGI, the ends on the rod I bought are different than the ends on my bike. The ends on my bike are what appears to be a ball and socket style. The new rod just has holes in the ends. What are you guys using to attach this type of rod? Bolts? Here is a pic of the new rod.

My hd shift linkage came with bolts to use, it also had a spacer/cover for the rear shift arm on the primary for certain models. Go get some good bolts and you should be fine. Make sure you adjust your length to the stock one. It was easier for me to set the length off the bike, then tighten the jam nuts with it installed.

Edit: on the front youll need a nut and bolt, on the rear it will just be a bolt, because the shift arm on the primary is threaded. Bring your current shift arm to the hardware store, find the proper nut, and then grab 2 bolts that fit the threading of the nut.

Im not sure how similar our bikes are(07 fxdb) but i can take some pics/measurements of my hardware if you need.
