Keep the color man, that is a sweet color on an FXDXT.

And you can powder coat the pipes, mine are powder coated my Joe Knapp, they also have high temp powder

Flat black all the tins. Get a black pipe. That is a good starting point. Talk to Joe (JRK5892) here and I am sure he can powder all your tins for you in a flat black.

Keep the color man... Spray the inside of the shield black and you'll see contrast a lot more.
powder coat some stuff you want, and ditchthe chrome, keep the color and you'll be pleased man.

A murdered out T sport isn't as appealing as an original one these days.

Thanks for all the replies, perhaps I will keep the color, at least for a while anyway. But definitely would like to black out as much chrome as I can. It's already pretty fast, even compared to my previous FJR1300, so increasing the inches isn't necessarily on top of my list for future mods. It is my first Harley, and it finally feels like I have a "real" motorcycle.
