I put on some 14 inch apes with stock cables. They were narrow apes with a width of 31 inches. Wiring fit fine and so did the brake line. The clutch cable gets pretty tight when I crank the bars to the right, but they work fine.

I did it too on a '11. Just reroute the clutch cable to the right hand side of the frame to gain a bit of slack and you should be fine.
