I'm new to the Harley nation, and just picked up my Wide Glide about a month ago. I'm looking for quick release windshield mounts that will fit the fork covers in between the triple trees. See photo to see the type of covers I'm talking about. I have a Memphis windshield, but the quick connect mounting system won't fit over those covers. Any ideas?
Thanks
Rich

From the pic it appears your fork covers are square right where the mounts would need to be placed for stability. Maybe you could fab some brackets to drop the lower mount below the lower tree and the upper mount to the round area in the middle.
I believe windvest makes shields that does fit into the top triple tree or mounts to your handle bar.
You will need a couple of Alan bolts unscrewed for removal so it's a minute to install and remove. They are also adjustable better than most shields to avoid the dreadful buffeting

Yeah, my Windvest mounts to the handle bars but it is a Fat Bob, not sure about a WG.
Sorry, been away from the forum for a bit.
I'll check out the Windvest mounts like suggested. Thanks for that.
As far as the covers, I have no idea. I'm taking it up to the local HD shop to have them check them out, and see if they can tell me. I'll report back.
