Going both ways

Planning a 1700 mile trip this summer and decided to put the mid pegs back on for another leg position. Bike came with forwards but the previous owner threw in the mid pegs. Bike kind of looks funky but I'm opting out for comfort, anyone else tried this?

I've got mid pegs mounted on mine. I use them on longer trips for that extra foot position. It definitely does make for extra comfort.

Id recommend the FLD floorboard kit. More position to move your feet around and more secure, not fighting to keep your feet on the pegs from the wind.

Do it all the time on 3 day cruises. Take them off for every day riding.

I've never tried it but for a trip that long, having more foot positions has got to be the way to go.

It looks like footboards won`t work on Roscoe`s ride because of the V&H 2 into 2 pipes he has. Unless they are somehow modified.
