Yeah im having a hard time. I have found a black bolt set through Drag Specialties, but it only covers the engine covers, i need some others such as the seat mount screw, the headlight screw, my aftermarket signal light screws.... I have called some bolt supply shops, but they dont supply plated, so they will just rust. I suppose i could buy some and get them plated, but to buy 5 bolts and get them plated, would not be cheap, would be much better if i could just find some place that sold "blac plated bolts".... but i cant find them....

People powder coat them, but your best bet is hot toppers. They have chrome or black:

I think no matter what you do, the tool you use to tighten them will F them up.

I agree that hot toppers are your best bet.

Hot Toppers are kind of fruity, i want less on my bike rather then more..... plus they are only really for the main engine covers aswell, i suppose i could get them and just use them wherever....

Pull the bolts out. Spray paint the bolt heads black and put them back in

Caswell plating sells home plating setups for the average diy er. Not expensive and theg have a nice black chrome home plating setup. I wouldnt personally use it on large scale projecrs but for bolts etc should be perfect for ya
