Default performance machine/r.s air filters
i have an 06 street bob with screamin eagle slip-ons and stage 1 air cleaner. no tuner. if i add one of these aftermarket air cleaners like in the pic where the sides are open and exposed and the cover only covers the nonfiltered side of the air cleaner, will i need a tuner or will the bike run fine?

Since you should've already had a tuner with the stage 1, the answer is yes.

The a/c you have is virtually the same as that flow wise. It just probably has a football cover over it. I'd get a tuner or jet my carb if i was lucky enough to have one.

If you can afford a Performance Machine ac then you should get a decent tuner, it will help your bike run much better.

Anybody that pays $400 or more for an A/C should have a mental evaluation.

I really like the badass turbo/jet engine look of the RSD turbine but yea the 400 dollar price tag is a bit over the top.

I have a PM Fast Air Intake and maybe I do need a mental eval... but I love how it looks so its worth it to this guy!
