Does the bike run any better with the exhaust wrapped? I used to use that 20+ years ago on the headers in my hot rods to reduce the under hood temps- but man was that exhaust hot!!

I'm pretty sure it's just the Thunderheader model made for the Pre-'06 Narrowglides. Any Pre-'06 I've seen running the Thunderheader is nice and low.

I couldn't honestly say because right after install I went to playing with my PCIII USB. That being said, I got her out on the backroads for the first time the other day with the new setup and hit ~115mph and still had throttle. Came up on a slow cager that same day going 60 to my 90 and I rolled it back to 100%. The last time I did that my TC88 didn't have anything left. This time? Passed that car like a fart in the wind with more to give.

(The pipes are hot though. I wouldn't dissuade you from wrapping, I'm loving it. Fuel economy also went up by about 25miles /tank)

TL;DR My stock TC88 is like a bat out of hell with this new setup (coming from Rineharts.)

How did you get it twisted like that? I like that a lot!

My 04 wg Is hooked up too, with a low restriction air filter, e3 plugs, python pipes, and a fuel programmer. It leaves my old 1200c in the dust, that had the same plugs, rejected carb, and screaming eagle slip ons without the baffles.

Looks good. Is there any way to get those clamps behind the pipes? Can you rotate the plate and still protect the wrap?

That's what we were going to go for, until we realized getting those clamps tightened down well enough with them behind the pipes would be a larger PITA.

It honestly shouldn't be that bad. You just need a socket on a U joint. Turn the clamps over so you can get to the screws from under the bike. Take a whack...

Dammit that sucks! Is your bike lowered at all? My T-header is slung low like any other but I've never scraped it except when I actually got cut off in traffic and put the bike down.

Wrap is a pain for sure...I'm on my second wrap job in 4 years or so, and swore this 2nd time would be the last. Heat shields after this.

Can you explain that? I need to know what I am up to, because mine are wrapped also.
