I'm sure it does, but looking at your build it has NOTHING to do with the TH.

Yes, I understand that...you were disagreeing with his statement that the TH leads to bad low end power when compared to the ST. But your statement about being able to break the tire loose doesn't prove anything about the TH's performance, given your engine build. With the amount of work you have done, ANY pipe would probably allow you to break the tire loose and lift the wheel in second gear.

never mind. I type too slow .But I think most 2-1 pipes will make better low end power than a 2-2. Ive only heard good things about the TH. Its just too bad they're so damn ugly. But thats just my opinion. Lots of people like the way they look. Im planning on swapping my VH Big Shots for a Bassani RR. Kind of settling for middle ground on looks vs performance. And the short up sweep should keep me from dragging. If I could quit gouging my primary I would be good. lol

looks good, man! is your FB lowered? Any issues with clearance--the road or the lower rear shock bolt?

I put a ThunderHeader on my 05 FXDXI last night it had a Screaming Eagle full system and stage 1 on it and tune from Hd . I just got off the bike and rode it all over. The usable power range is better, smoother and has more top end. I still can't believe the difference and on a basically stock 88. I thought thats the whole idea of merging 2 into one or a H or X merge. I don't understand the comment of the TH only being good over 4000 rpm?..

It is not lowered, I have plenty of ground clearance..It was lowered at one time until the rear tire ate the wiring harness from under the fender..
